Clubs & Organizations

Parents may decline participation (opt out) of their child in any club/organization offered at Lockheed Elementary. The "opt out" form is included with the Parent Guide signature document.

Club or Organization Mission/Purpose Activities

Student Ambassadors

Provide students with the opportunity to learn about and participate in the governance process, leadership/ representative role and the democratic process

School-based Service/ Social projects and community service activities

Safety Patrol

Student leaders that set a good example to encourage other students to observe school rules and expectations at all times Officers for the school campus; monitor student movement in the hallways

Science Club

Students participate in after-school activities that focus on science Experiments, projects, investigations

Jammin' Jets

Participation in group activities designed to help students perform and sing with proper vocal techniques, to appreciate music, and to work together towards a common goal. Approved rehearsals in preparation for school-wide and district-wide performances and programs and field trips throughout the community

Reading Bowl Club

Students will read and discuss books from multiple genres Literacy focused group to support reading and comprehension activities for the district Reading Bowl event.
Drama Club   Rehearse and prepare to perform an annual musical production every spring
Cross Stitch Club Provide students with the opportunity to learn how to cross stitch. Needle arts can become a lifelong hobby that is both creative and relaxing. Students will learn to cross stitch on a beginner piece and then move on to more advanced pieces.
